Hydrogen has high solubility in aluminum liquid, which will reduce the physical properties and mechanical processing performance of castings. To produce high-quality castings, the hydrogen content in aluminum liquid must be controlled at a relatively low level. The rotor of the in-furnace rotary refining device can effectively disperse inert gas into fine bubbles, which are uniformly dispersed and floated in the aluminum liquid. The hydrogen partial pressure in the aluminum liquid is higher than that in the bubbles, so hydrogen will diffuse into the inert gas and float to the liquid surface with the bubbles, thereby effectively reducing the hydrogen content in the aluminum liquid. At the same time, the rising bubbles will carry small inclusions in the aluminum liquid to the surface, where they are removed by the covering flux.
